The studio's thesis: most AI-generated product work is average by definition because it reflects averages in its training data. Magnolia Labs designs against the default.

stiff — Eau de Stretch
stiff is a screen-time blocker for iOS that uses physical stretching to unlock apps. It detects real movement via Google MediaPipe pose estimation. When a blocked app is opened, the user completes a short stretch intervention to earn unlocked time. A two-minute intervention disguised as a game, for the ones who scroll until they can't move.
DreamDump — Nuit de Drift
DreamDump is an AI dream journaling app for iOS with safety guardrails. Users journal with a cloud-shaped AI companion named Drift. Conversations use Gen Z fluency but are safety-first: crisis-language detection triggers real-support redirects, and mental-health-sensitive content is handled with guardrails. Cozy enough for a nightmare.
